Candidate profile overview

When a candidate applies for a job on SquarePeg they are asked to upload a resume. A profile is automatically created using this resume. Candidates can edit their profile by adding or removing work experience, skills, preferences, demographic information, and more.

Some candidates choose not to complete their profile and submit only a resume. You can send a request to have the candidate complete their profile directly from the profile screen. SquarePeg will still show you applicants with incomplete profiles if they are identified as a match.

Status Status is shown here. You can click on the current status to change it.
Match Score This is the candidate's match score. This score is based on work history and skills in the candidate's profile. Click here to learn more about match scores.
Basic Info Shows basic information like name, location, most recent job, and total work experience.
Application Date Shows how long ago the candidate applied to the current job.
Salary Match & Sponsorship Shows if the candidate is a salary match and if they require sponsorship.
Contact Info Shows basic contact information like email, website, and LinkedIn.
Summary This summary is written by candidates when they create their SquarePeg profile. Not all candidates add a summary to their profile.
Preferences Shows if the candidate prefers on-site, hybrid, or remote work. Also shows if the candidate is willing to relocate. Not all candidates add preferences to their profile.
Screening Questions & Cover Letter Shows a candidate's cover letter and screening question answers (if provided.)
Skills Shows the skills that the candidate entered when creating their profile. These skills affect the candidate's match score.
Industries Shows the industries that the candidate entered when creating their profile. These skills affect the candidate's match score.
Behavioral Traits If the candidate has taken the traits assessment, the results are shown here. Click here to learn more about SquarePeg's traits assessment.
Resume The candidate's resume is shown here.
Work Experience Shows work experience details provided by the candidate when they created their profile. Not all candidates complete this, so we recommend referencing the resume as well.
