When a job has sourcing enabled, SquarePeg will continuously source candidates using job targeting criteria. All applicants are automatically scored by SquarePeg's matching algorithm and human reviewer double-checks all scores for accuracy. When an applicant's match score is above a certain threshold they will appear in the job application tab for review.
Viewing applicants
- Select a job from the dashboard
Applicants that have been scored, reviewed, and recommended by SquarePeg appear in the Applications tab. Aim to keep this tab empty by reviewing and responding to applicants quickly.
By default, SquarePeg only shows you recommended applicants. You can enable the other applicants toggle to see all applicants regardless of qualifications or fit. These are applicants who either haven't been reviewed by SquarePeg, have a low match score, haven't completed their profile, have already been disqualified by SquarePeg, or a combination of several of several factors.
- To approve or archive a candidate, open their full profile
- Click Approve to move a candidate to the In-Progress tab
- Click Archive to move a candidate to the Archived tab
You will have the opportunity to message the candidate during either of these actions.
