Whenever a candidate applies for a job, they are added to SquarePeg's candidate database. Whenever a new job is posted, a match is automatically generated for all qualified candidates in SquarePeg's database. You can browse this database and invite candidates to apply for your job.
- To view this database, open any job from your dashboard.
- Click on the Invited tab
- Click Invite candidates to apply in the top right corner
This screen will show you every candidate in SquarePeg's database that matches your job description and targeting criteria. By default, these candidates are sorted by match score.
You can use the skill, industry, and location filters to refine your search further. For example, SquarePeg's match score gives candidates partial credit for skills that are related to the skills in your targeting criteria. If you only want to see candidates that have a specific skill, you can filter by that skill.

When browsing SquarePeg's database, the candidate profile is slightly different than viewing a job applicant. This is because SquarePeg hides any personally identifiable information until a candidate shows interest in a job.
You can use the Previous and Next buttons to browse through the database without returning to the candidate list. The Invite button will open a message window and let you write a message before sending the candidate an invite to apply. The Hide button will hide the candidate from the invite to apply list. However, they will still appear in the invite list for other jobs if they are a match.
